Course Content

Basic rope access techniques (ascending, descending, rope transfers).

Equipment use, maintenance, and inspection.

Knots, rigging, and basic anchor systems.

Basic rescue techniques.( Descend Mood)

Safety procedures, hazard awareness, and risk assessment.
Duration & Assessment

Typically 5-6 days (including training and assessment).

Assessment by an independent IRATA assessor on the final day.

Successful candidates receive an IRATA Level 1 certificate, valid for three years.
